One of the advantages of living downtown is being able to take advantage of the many activities that take place downtown. We live near state, federal and local municipality buildings. This means that we can view a wide range of political gatherings. Some people might call them protests, others would call them “meetings where people express their constitutional rights”.
In addition to political theater, we are within walking distance to Tucson Convention Center, The Tucson Museum of Art, Fox Theatre, Leo Rich Theatre where the Tucson Symphony and Broadway Shows appear. The Temple of Music and Art has plays, and art exhibits. We have a season subscription to the Arizona Theatre company. For the new sounds we can walk to the Rialto Theatre or Congress Hotel. If we were younger we could walk to 4th Avenue where many university venues are located. These range from a cooperative food store to late night entertainment like Plush.
So besides making jewelry for LuckySammyJewelry, we have plenty of activities to keep us busy.
