Every year, there is a book festival at the University of Arizona. It is big. Two full days of authors of every genre come to Tucson and discuss their books and ideas. In addition to the books, there are booths filled with books, cooking, science, etc.. Many popular cooking shows will come and do demonstrations. There are big tents with hundreds of chairs so you can watch the cooking demonstrations. There are also book booths were you can get an author’s signature. There are booths dedicated to science fiction, to children’s books, etc..Many of the local food trucks are also in attendance. My favorite food truck is the corn on the cob. Corn grilled, with tons of butter. FANTASTIC! Of course being high brow, you can eat vegan or GMO free. Polish off your GMO free organic salad with a bratwurst. Again FANTASTIC! Two great days in Tucson.
